New Mobile, new course & all…

Well I’ve been meaning to update this blog for a while now….but didn’t have enough motivation since there were really not many who read this…so it kinda became more like a self-lament…anyways, I thought it’d be better to update it anyhow…so here goes…

My new mobile:

Well finally I got it…my very own HTC Touch Diamond!!!...and boy do I love it of what…it is more than everything that I imagined it would be and it’s really gorgeous and sexy and loaded to the brim with features. I got it from Lifestyle in Chennai Citicentre plaza for a good bargain….I got a bluetooth headset and a 1gb mp3 player along with it.

My laptop is fucked:

This is the saddest news of all times…my baby….my alienware’s screen developed a thin flickering line when I was in Chennai but it became persistent and is now present all the times on my screen and it is more than annoying!!! I’m trying everything to get rid of it but nothing seems to be working and to add to my frustration, another small line has begun to flash now and then along the right side of my screen….well all I can say is that it is definitely not a good time for me!!!

New course:

I finally managed to apply for an 8week course in psychological counselling at the Christian Counselling Centre in Vellore and got a place. The course begins on the 7th of October and will end on the 28th November. It’s a residential course and I will gain training at the CMC (Christian Medical College, Vellore) which would be a GREAT thing to put on my CV.

My Visa status:

Well here is the last reponse I got from them when I enquired about my visa:

Dear Sir,

Your Admin Review is still pending and we will inform you as soon as the entry clearance office makes a decision.

Now I only hope he comes up with a decision sometime soon. On the other hand, I’m hoping that IF they’re gonna decide soon, it better be a positive decision and if not, let it be dragged on until October 30th and beyond….because, come October 30th, I will have a 3 month statement showing more than the amount they ask for and it will be present in my account according to their guidelines and my application would be still good since it was placed before July 31st which was my eligibility date for applying. So as soon as October 30th is reached, I’ll get a statement, scan it and mail it to them so that they can finally grant me the visa. Let’s hope for the best anyways!!!
